As a General Practitioner, Meg values the opportunity to support patients with their health needs through careful listening. She graduated from the University of Sydney and underwent extensive training throughout Australia, providing her with a wide range of valuable experiences.
Before becoming a doctor, Meg worked as a veterinary surgeon. This background has nurtured a strong appreciation for holistic care and the special bonds we have with our pets. Growing up in a remote area of Tasmania also influenced her perspective, offering insights into the unique challenges faced by communities outside urban centres. This experience drives her commitment to providing accessible healthcare for everyone.
Meg has been lucky enough to practice in extraordinary places, such as the Australian Embassy in Myanmar and even Antarctica. These experiences have enabled her to meet individuals from diverse backgrounds and expand my understanding of global health challenges.
Currently, Meg splits her time between the landscapes of Tasmania and the sunny beaches of Queensland. Additionally, Meg works as a rural generalist in Emergency Departments to keep her skills sharp.
Meg has a particular interest in ADHD and menopause, and she strives to create a welcoming and safe telehealth environment for patients to discuss their health concerns openly.
